We are a couple that has been dating a little over a year. I am 29 and Chris is 31. We do not live together but do spend a lot of time together. I have a 9 year old son named Kameron that is my everything. Kam and Chris get along great, they are buddies. The only exercise we have been getting lately is playing volleyball every friday night at a bar called Holidays, which is usuallly contradicted with a night of a "few" beers. Hopefully that will change, not the volleyball and the beers as that is the only night out I usually get, but the lack of exercise.

What happened???

Well, here we are it is September 17th 2008.  We are starting out again not that we ever really quit but more like slacking off on this website.  We are still eating better than we ever have but just slacking off more than we should be on the junk food.  Exercise is almost non existant.  We want to get back into it more than ever now because we recently got engaged on Aug 31st 2008 and plan to look amazing by our weddding on August 15th 2009.  I am still around my goal weight varying from day to day, but Chris still has more to go to be where he wants to be.  He has done an amazing job so far and I'm so proud of him.  He wanted me to get back on here because it was a good motivational tool for us so here we are!!  One little setback we have is that I just had surgery on my feet and am not able to walk for awhile so after I'm better we plan on joining the YMCA with my son so we can all go together.  It is all around the best option for us.  I will post some updated pictures of us so you can all see the changes we have made so far.  Wish us luck!!!

March 2nd

So we haven't written in awhile, sorry about that.  We are still going though.  I was a little discouraged for awhile there because I didn't lose anything  in 3 weeks.  After that I started losing again so I felt better.  We are still eating the healthy way and I'm getting a lot better at cooking.  We are even getting better at going out to eat.  I mean ordering all the right foods for us.  Every once in a blue moon we get something that we really want, but shortly after we do our bodies tell us that we probably shouldn't have.  We have been so used to our healthy lifestyle that if we even eat anything remotely unhealthly, we pay for it.  Those days are becoming scarce!!  We have gotten the eating thing down pretty much now we just have to work on the working out part.  Let you know what happens next week.
February 12

Feb 12th

So this week was not a good week for us.  Chris and I both ate very healthy during the week but the weekend was a different story.  We went to play volleyball on Friday as usual but had gone out to eat with friends to Denny's at 2 am.  NOT GOOD!!!!!  We sweared we would not do that again.  On Sunday it was Chris' mom's birthday so they brought in a lot of KFC.  It was good and I only had small portions.  Anyway I gained 1 pound and Chris stayed the same.  I was sick for most of the week so I didn't get to work out like I wanted.  We have also been really busy this week it's hard to stay on task.  Anyhow this is a new week and we are starting strong.  Chris is watching his parent's house this week so we have access to the treadmill.  We will put that to good use.  Hopefully it will help us for next weigh-in!!!
February 06

Week 4 (Chris)

Week 4 came and gone.  I lost 2 lbs and Kerrie lost a few more.  We have taken our measurements but just haven't had a chance to show the change.  We have both lost a few inches, that is really the ultimate goal.  Kerrie is learning how to cook, and it tastes really good.  She's become very good at it and I enjoy the dinners., and they are all healthy!!!!  Unfortunately Kerries been extremly sick these last two days so I lost my work out partner.  I'm doing a few things but no where as much if she was healthy.  I'm going to go to the gym today so I can lose some more.
February 01

week 3 blog

So this is my blog for week 3.  I know I know it's a little later than usual.  So I have great news.  Chris has lost 7 pounds this week and I lost 3 and a half.  This cooking thing is actually getting easier and the food is really good.  We went to Olive Garden on Sunday to have a nice meal since we've been doing so good.  The first thing we did was cut our portions in half.  We only ate half and it was very filling.  We have been doing alot of Tae Bo and may be starting do so some Yoga in the future.  Well we will see you next weigh in!!
